Sutton on Sea

SUTTON ON SEA VILLAGE CENTRE

Sat on the sunnier dryer side of the country, Sutton on Sea, known many years ago as Sutton in the Marsh, is a delightful village you might easily miss. It offers visitors a much more tranquil environment than the bustling, burger and beer atmosphere of Mablethorpe to the North and Skeg-Vegas (Skegness) 15 miles South.

Sutton is a small and charming. It has no amusement arcades or fun fairs, and at first, you might wonder what it has to offer. You soon realise that the extremely friendly and informal welcome that it extends to visitors ensures that this little village wins the hearts of visitors who come back year after year.

The village is a hub of activity, pubs, restaurants, golf course, traditional shops, miles of country walks and sandy beaches. It boasts the annual Carnival in July, full of sound, colour laughter and classic family fun. Other entertainment, in the village, include live music in pub gardens, and tennis, Beer and Sausage festivals!
